At Derris, we strive to deliver your favorite shirts quickly, safely, and efficiently. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, ship, and deliver orders placed through www.derris.in.
1. Order Processing
- All confirmed orders are processed within 1–3 business days (excluding Sundays and public holidays).
- Once your order is packed and dispatched, you’ll receive an email or SMS with tracking details.
- Orders placed during high-demand periods (festivals, sales, etc.) may take slightly longer to process.
2. Shipping Partners
We ship across India through trusted courier partners such as:
- Shiprocket, Delhivery, Blue Dart, DTDC, and other reliable logistics services.
Each order is assigned a unique tracking ID so you can easily monitor your shipment status online.
3. Delivery Timelines
Estimated delivery times vary based on your location:
- Metro Cities: 2–5 business days
- Tier-2 & Tier-3 Cities: 4–7 business days
- Remote / Rural Areas: 6–10 business days
⚙️ Smart Delivery Estimation:
We use your IP address and approximate location to provide more accurate delivery estimates during checkout.
This helps us plan faster, region-based fulfillment without collecting personally identifiable data.
4. Shipping Charges
- Free shipping is available for all prepaid orders above ₹999.
- A nominal shipping charge (usually ₹49–₹99) may apply for smaller orders.
- COD and Partial COD orders may attract a small handling fee, displayed at checkout.
5. Partial COD Orders
For Partial Cash on Delivery (Partial COD) orders:
- You’ll pay a small advance (e.g., ₹200–₹500) online during checkout.
- The remaining balance is payable at delivery.
- If the customer refuses delivery without valid reason (e.g., wrong/defective item), a ₹200 handling fee will be deducted before refunding the advance.
- If we fail to deliver, the advance amount will be refunded in full.
6. Delivery Delays
We do our best to ensure timely delivery. However, delays may occur due to:
- Incorrect or incomplete address
- Natural calamities, strikes, or courier delays
- Unexpected surge in orders during festive seasons
In such cases, our support team will notify you promptly and assist with updated delivery timelines.
7. Tracking Your Order
Once dispatched, you’ll receive:
- A tracking link via email or SMS
- Courier name and shipment ID
You can track your order status anytime using this link.
8. Non-Delivery & RTO (Return to Origin)
If delivery fails due to:
- Incorrect address
- Multiple unsuccessful delivery attempts
- Customer unavailability
The parcel will be returned to us (RTO).
Once received, we’ll contact you to reship (with applicable shipping charges) or issue a refund as per our Refund Policy.
9. International Shipping
Currently, Derris ships only within India.
We are working to enable international shipping soon.
